We had the pleasure of meeting some of the lovely ladies at Hall and Co recently when we were invited to come along and host a Gin Tasting evening for their staff. We set up the Gin Tasting in their ‘Tasting Room’ which has been beautifully styled with an open fireplace, rustic wooden table and chairs, fur throws, plants and accessories. They tried 3 very different gins paired with different mixers and garnishes. Their favourite was then enjoyed as a double in a balloon glass with lots of ice and all the trimmings! A fab evening was had by all!

If you don’t know of Hall and Co already, they are a young vibrant Full Service Wedding & Events Company based in Crown Street, St Ives, Cambridgeshire. Owner Elizabeth set up the business 4 years ago and now has a team of staff offering everything you could possibly need to plan your event. From planning, catering, styling and floristry, they have it all covered. I had a quick peek in their prop shop which is filled to the brim with quirky furniture, tables, rugs, lamps, mirrors……you name it, they stock it!

Elizabeth also owned the popular Little Acre café in St Ives which she ran for almost 3 years, but has now set up a third business Gather Grow Connect and has now turned the café into a co-working and venue hire space for the creative community and along with local small business owners and entrepreneurs, will be offering various events, workshops, yoga, pilates, plus I know they have lots of other cool ideas up their sleeve – including offering Gin Tasting events with The Gin Kitchen!
